Why it matters
A skim, a patch and a plasterboard job aren't the same enquiry
Most plastering enquiries land after another trade has already been in, a new stud wall needs boarding, a bathroom refit needs a patch around new pipework, or a whole room needs a full skim. A generic contact form just says "plastering needed" and leaves you to work out which one it is, how big the room is, and whether it's ready for you yet. You end up phoning back just to ask the questions the form should have asked.
How it could work for you
The brief tells you what you're quoting for
Enquiro asks what type of job it is first: skimming, drylining, patch repair, or ceiling work, then gets a rough size and a description of the current state of the walls. A patch repair after a plumber's been in arrives looking like exactly that, not a mystery you have to unpick on the phone before you can even give a ballpark price.
Example enquiry
“A homeowner has had a new stud wall built for a home office and needs it plastered before decorating.”
