Why it matters
"Need a wardrobe built" isn't enough to quote on
Bespoke work lives or dies on details customers don't think to include: room dimensions, whether it's fitting into an awkward alcove, what finish they want, and how soon they need it done. A plain enquiry form gets you a one-line message and nothing else, so you're either sending back three questions before you can even guess a price, or booking a site visit for a job that turns out to be outside what you do.
How it could work for you
Enough scope to give a real figure first time
Enquiro asks what kind of job it is, whether it's fitted furniture, a staircase, or a bespoke piece, then rough size and timescale. That's usually enough to give a ballpark figure in your first reply, or to know straight away that this one's worth a proper site visit rather than a job you'd have to turn down after the fact.
Example enquiry
“A customer wants fitted wardrobes built into an alcove in a new bedroom and wants it finished before they move in.”
Job types on this form
